In today’s episode, I’m speaking with Evelyn Lacerda a Broker with Remax. Evelyn is a consistent 200% Club Award winning realtor that recognizes agents that achieve over $200K in commissions. Evelyn also trains and coaches new and experienced realtors on how to level up in their business. She’s an entrepreneur, a natural go-getter and is clearly committed to being the best at what she does.
However, most notably, Evelyn is one of the most passionate and sincere realtors I’ve spoken to and she really values her relationships with her clients and that’s really evident in our conversation. It's really clear why Evelyn is a top agent and it was a real pleasure speaking with her. So without further ado, here’s our chat...
Getting to know Evelyn
Evelyn has never measured her success in real estate by numbers alone. Certainly, she has achieved some exceptional things in her career, routinely reaching the 200% and Platinum Club Awards with RE/MAX, ranking her among the top real estate professionals in the province. But her personal goals and achievements are not measured by the number of transactions or dollars sold. For her, these are simply statistics that do not reveal what is truly important.
For Evelyn, success is measured by the friends she has made along the way from satisfied clients. The greatest compliment a client pays to Evelyn is when that client refers her to their friends and family. The basis of her philosophy has been built upon one unwavering tenet, "I treat a client's real estate needs as if they are my own." That means, a client is never pressured to make an offer on a prospective home or accept an offer on their existing home. Evelyn often restrains clients from making an offer on the wrong property. She explains to her clients "I will never pressure you into buying a property, but if the house is a bad option, I will get in the way and stop you."
Evelyn brings her extensive expertise and resources to bear in every single transaction - whether with a first-time buyer or a multi-million dollar property. Her marketing savvy truly separates her properties from the masses - infusing dynamic photography, tasteful staging and professional design to create a promotional strategy for your home that makes the audience beg to view more. Evelyn expresses her mission statement in the following way: "If I am invited to my client's new home for a coffee to catch up on things, I know I've done well. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to become so close to my clients during one of the most important times of their lives."
